We always aim to provide an exciting, stimulating and memorable event, don’t just take our word for it, see what previous companies and individuals have to say about their experience at Long Acres Shooting Grounds.
I had never even held a gun before and I can’t thank you enough Sam. You are a brilliant teacher and you made it such fun. I can’t believe how exciting and satisfying it was to hit so many clay pigeons from all angles…..absolutely brilliant.

A great teacher, Very patient, positive and full of enthusiasm. Fantastic lessons.
A very enjoyable experience and lots of fun too.
What a fabulous treat and what a great teacher who made me look a better shot than I thought I was. A great success and highly recommended.
I have been fortunate to know Sam for some time and have greatly benefited from his advice. He has a combination of three rare gifts; the instinctive ability to recognise a fault, the experience of knowing how to remedy it and, as a natural communicator, to make advice clear and action simple. He makes it sound so easy and it becomes so.

My shooting life has taken me round the world but when suffering a bad patch I have only to conjure up the reassuring figure of Sam Grice behind me and imagine myself back at Long Acres and miraculously my marksmanship improves!

What a fantastic day! Sam is such a wonderful teacher who pays attention to every-ones individual needs. Thank-you Sam
I've been clay pigeon shooting before but felt like I actually learnt something this morning - About shooting and everything else from Sam’s anecdotes.
Thanks very much.

Fantastic experience. Had a lot of fun. Found it surprisingly relaxing. Great teaching; Patient and experienced. Would recommend it to anyone.
I just wanted to say a huge 'thank you' to you and your wife for laying on such a splendid day for Benjie and his friends on Monday. What a fantastic way to celebrate a successful end to Common Entrance and Benjie's return to shooting after his back operation. I thought the boys all shot well, though some targets were more testing for some than others particularly the bolting rabbit! The final team flush at the end was very exciting...............though Benjie still maintains that the others had more clays!
A great afternoon. Thank you and thank you to Joel too for all his help.
With three of the boys off to Framlingham College in September, I think we need to work on the College to establish a clay shooting team!
